Oh, where to start? The Scottish breakfast was a proper feast that’ll have you craving more! the super king bed in our freshly decorated room was a dream come true for a perfect night's sleep. Plus, it's just a short stroll to Campbeltown’s coastline and lovely eateries!
The mattresses were a tad firm for my liking, but honestly, that's just me nitpicking since everything else sparkled.

Spacious, spotless room with high ceilings—loved the vibe! The spotless bathroom and impeccable grounds make you feel like royalty. Plus, plenty of on-site parking for my beloved motorbike, which appreciated the attention to detail!
The only downside? The mattress was firmer than my grandma’s advice on saving money! I woke up feeling like a pancake—flipped but still flat!

the shower pressure could’ve been better, absolutely disappointing for a place that markets itself as 'charming'. and while the walls are 'immaculate', I expected complimentary gesture since I’m not just any visitor—their negligence was astounding! I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t. definitley not worth it, unless you're into mediocrity.

An unexpected breakfast delight
The Grammar Lodge offers a charming stay with its beautifully renovated schoolhouse ambience, high ceilings, and immaculate rooms. The breakfast is an experience on its own—a feast of high-quality options that left me satisfied and eager for more. The hostess is both approachable and knowledgeable, enhancing the experience with local tips and a personal touch.
While the overall experience was wonderful, the mattress was slightly firm for my liking, making it challenging to find a comfortable sleeping position.

Exceptional breakfast and warm hospitality
I had a wonderful stay with spotless room accommodations that were both modern and comfortable. The breakfast was a standout, with a delightful array of options, truly one of the best I’ve experienced. Plus, the thoughtful touches like homemade cake daily made it feel extra special. I would only wish for a slightly larger communal seating area in the breakfast room to enhance the experience.

I really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on my first morning, it was so tasty! The garden area was perfect for unwinding with comfy seating and lovely greenery. The shower pressure could’ve been better, but overall, I had a fantastic stay. 😊
